Witness Me

Witness Me is an interactive meditation and wearable artwork about gender, presence, and self-recognition. It pairs screenprinted pronoun bandanas with a guided experience that invites you to slow down, breathe, and witness yourself with care.

Gender is often described as a performance, as something practiced, negotiated, and read by others. This work holds that truth while offering another: gender can be an oath. A promise you make to yourself. A way of naming who you are, again and again, even when the world resists listening.

The bandanas work as both visibility and intimacy that is worn, touched, tied close to the body. The meditation extends that closeness, creating space to affirm your pronouns, your body, and your becoming without urgency or explanation.

Rooted in trans and gender-expansive experience, Witness Me welcomes anyone seeking to affirm themselves with honesty and care. It asks: what changes when you're not only seen by others, but when you truly witness yourself?
